Chorus Director: Tim Ser

Tim Service has recently come on board as our (new) chorus director. Tim has a degree in Music from Virginia Tech as well as many years of experience in barber-shopping, including chorus directing and quartet singing. He is a member of the NC Harmony Brigade. Tim is a building contractor by day and a consultant for Deltec Homes, manufacturer of ‘round’ houses.. His wife, Susan, teaches at Patrick County High School
Assistant directors are: Gene Swartz, Barry Sink and Andrew Miller (currently inactive).
Mission Statement
"The Roanoke Valley Chapter of Barbershop Harmony Society aims to become the premier male a-capella singing organization in Western Virginia. The Chapter's "Virginia Gentlemen" chorus will be appealing to men of all ages who seek to be a part of a high quality vocal performing group known for its fun, fellowship and harmony."
